I had some time to spare and the rain had subsided for a bit, so I took the opportunity to walk around my neighborhood on a quite afternoon and snap away.
Footscray is a bustling suburb that has a lot to offer: beautiful parks to relax and enjoy nature, different cultures and cuisines and a thriving street art scene. Plenty to enjoy for a camera-nerd.
Once the centre for southern European migrants, these days Footscray is home to Chinese, Vietnamese, and increasingly, North African immigrants and now also some Dutch 🙂 So whether you like to slurp a bowl of pho at a Vietnamese noodle house, get a masala dosa near Victoria University, or tuck into traditional Ethiopian injera flat bread at Nicholson Street Mall, Footscray has you covered.
